Long story short, the lady that owns the daycare my kids goto asked if i knew of a scrap dealer that would take the "old tractor" away. I told her "no, but I will take it for scrap prices". Saturday Morning a 1964 MF50 with a model 99 FEL arrives at my door steps. I spent a few hours tinkering with it and replaced the busted sediment bowl and stole the battery out of my trash truck. Now she runs. She needs somemore minor work, carb kit, muffler, Fluids/filters changed, but she runs and did not smoke when I cranked her up. I also will need the shop and operators manuals.

I cant tell you how tickled i am. I have been wanting a fullsize for a long time and never could justify the purchase. When she told me all she wanted was $500, My wallet almost caught on fire from how fast it left my pocket.
Here are the pics.

What a deal! The loader is worth the price you paid! When I was a little kid, Dad's "big tractor" was a MF50. We didn't have nearly as good a loader. Our loader was a "Freeman" loader with trip bucket. Great tractors! I have lots of memories on our old MF50, but sadly she is gone. Dad traded it in for a brand new MF175 in 74. Wish we still had her!

Like Daniel said you bought the loader and got the tractor for free! That will make a good all around tractor for you to play and work with. Nice find :yelclap:
