You can always try electrolysis! But either way, when the project is finished, there's no lingering doubts to whether you did the right thing!

I definately plan to try this out!

Well, I just got back from a belly buster breakfast at Carl's diner in Oxford, Ma

Been there, done that a few times. No way you finished your meal, am I right? I ordered 2 eggs over easy with kielbasa once; he gave me 3 eggs, 3 toast, homefries and an entire kielbassa.... unreal. I watched 3 highschool linebackers come in with one of the kid's dad. He told Carl "these boys can eat", well, maybe normal breakfasts but they didn't finish what they got from Carl!

My mama always told me to eat what was set before me... two eggs (more like 4) hash browns, bacon, and wheat toast. Oh, and kinda as a joke, I told them extra bacon. What came to the table, was the typical meal with 12-15 slices of bacon about 10" long.... and a separate plate of bacon with close to two dozen 10" long slices of bacon on TOP of what was on my "meal"! But yes, I finished every think on both my plates, right down to all the toast and coffee. It was good!

PS, I had practice.... mama is from the south!

You would be the first person who has ever told me that they actually finished a meal there!

I always finish my meal there... you just go hungry!

I think the next time, I am going to get the eggs, hash browns, & ham... (Note the eggs peaking out all around the ham!)

Well, back to the topic at hand... Today I put something up that I have wanted to do for a long time. I ran some 2x3's under my garage door tracks and installed screw in hooks every 6". This gives me the much needed hanging room I have been looking for. I plan to pick up a longer 2x4 that will span the length in one board so it looks a bit better. I am also going to run a set of shelf / boxes at the end of the tracks and from side to side. This will give me some more storage and enclose the end between the tracks. I want to set up the area where the garage door tracks are to create a spray booth. By attaching some threaded studs in the wood, I will be able to hang some tarps easily to wall off the shop...

For now, I have almost filled all the hanging hooks on both sides and I still have a bunch of parts to do! I will be powder coating some of the stuff black, so this is just the stuff in primer! These were just the "odds & ends" that I did, I have not primed the running boards yet! The fender pan is primed on the inside of the box and the top sides, and waiting to be dry so I can prime the bottom. One metal seat pan is hanging in another spot, with the other high back one waiting for some grinding of the weld repairs and primer. I think this shows jut how many parts were blasted pretty good! My powder coat pile has the grille, two dash plates, four seat lid hinges and the internal arms for the hydro leaver. I also have the four rims and the dash tower to prime as well...

No, don't think messy...think "readily accessible" LOL

Seriously though, those are some great ideas that you have. I like the hooks!
