I'm retired and finding it hard for time to play with my tractors. I do remodel and paint work.

Retirement isn't really that bad ,but your right jms, money is tight and insurance is way to overpriced for what you get. I do enjoy retirement . My wife is also retired and has health insurance from her employer. It was good until after her retirement and they renegotiated the contract. Our premium doubled after the first year she was retired. We will keep on keepen on. I don't forsee having to stand in a welfare line or beggin for food but we have tightened our budget up some. We do camp but do so in the state forrest locally. Doesn't cost anthing for the permit. I have been contimplating again doing some more SE work. I don't want to get back into the HVAC service or installation, even though I have been asked several times, it reeks havoc on my knees and back. Thanks. Roger.

I'm sure things will workout . I do believe the health care is what's going to hinder the ones retiring now and the future . I watched our co. go from paying some of our retirement health care and each year paid less and less and now as soon as you retire that's it can't even pay full price using their group rate!  Oh well I'm 54 so I'm just figuring I'll die on the job ,,,, if I can stay healthy enough lol

Health insurance is going out the roof. We just got a notice if we smoke which I am proud to say wife and I do not, we must pay $50 more a month for health insurance.
