I wish I had this to use as my workhorse around the house.

Is it true that that was the first diesel garden tractor?

Well you see something new on here all the time. That is the first Real Yanmar horizontal cylinder cast iron low speed diesel I've seen. The Chinese are busy cloning those engines like crazy and they use them in all kinds of stationary equipment, boats, small taxi's etc. ChangFa is a common brand that was imported into the US and Canada for use to power generators and they can run on alternate fuels. I am surprised to see one on a GT as they are probably 250lbs and run at slow speeds. Speedex really was pushing the envelope when building those. They were probably very costly to manufacture.

Speedex built the 832 Diesel some time in 1969. I bey it pulls like a mule. I would like to have it just because of it rarity.

Oh.... I wish, I wish, I wish, I wish!!!!!   Would go nicely with my 1631! As much as I like my 1631, it would be that much better to have the great smell of DIESEL!!!!!

There is a lot of engine in that little space! Both figuratively and literally!
