Banjo's were played at our wedding..
You should have seen the looks we got in Vegas with that...

I had one of those moments down in Bobby's neck of the woods just out of Berea.... just sayin'
Told my buddy if I saw a kid playing banjo on a front porch, we are going back home!

I remember being straight out of high school in the 60s and going to Haight-Ashbury. Strange Doin's Going on There !!! Yes, Sir! Those folks weren't normal. Now, they wouldn't attract a second glance.

Another time was in 1968. I went to Biloxi, Missipy. I had a friend in the Air Force living there. I think that was the most backward town I ever saw. White folks would wear brown pants, and orange shirt and argyle socks, etc . Real high fashion!Black men wore suspenders and bare feet.The only work to speak of was the shrimp cannery. And then Hurricane Camille hit! Last I heard a lot has changed. They have tourism now.

Berea? Had a bud go to Baldwin Wallace. Visited him 3-4 times... Nice town, people seemed a little plastic tho.
