As some of you have seen, I picked up a 400 last week that has had a Yanmar 3cyl gas from a 322 transplanted into it. I would like to find an owners and service manual for the 322.

Does anyone have this in soft format?

Thanks!

I don't personally have it but if we don't have it, it's available if you join:  http://www.gobookee....service-manual/

**I'm not a member but it always pops up with manual searches..  Maybe someone has experience with these folks??

I'm covered on the 322 service manual... but I would still like to have the engines service manual. JD calls it "CTM12". My Yanmar is model 3TG66UJ.

The service manual in that link is for that engine too..  It's part of the book isn't it??  Service manual should cover the complete tractor

The tractor service manuals only cover the tractor, & nothing on the engine.  I guess John Deere just wants to make you shell out more cash for separate technical manuals.

That's odd because all the older Kohler powered JD's like the 300-316 have really extensive engine info in the service manual. My 2320 service manual also has engine info for it's Yanmar diesel. I'm not sure if the 322 engine was an experiment by JD and Yanmar or if it was a standard model in the Yanmar lineup. I don't think I've ever seen it used anywhere else.

I have a factory service manual that covers 322 through then 430, but NO engine section.  Same for my F935, a superb manual, but....nothing on the engine.

Same here. I've got stuff on the 400's orginal engine but the 322's doesn't have any detailed stuff for the Yanmar gasser.
