Hello I have recently been working on an ek10 and have hit a snag. I had the tractor running and braking then the pedal hit the floor and no brakes. I replaced the cable as it was knotted when I recieved the tractor. This was not the solution as the pedal still can be fully depressed and the belts will slack but the break shoe is not making contact. The cable is in its tightest configuration so I no longer have any adjustment left. The only other thing I can think of is that the pedal slipped on the shaft and sheared its roll pin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I would check the roll pin  to see if it is still intact.

If it suddenly quit working I would suspect something broke.

Thank you for your help I figured it out right after I posted the message. It was the roll pin. Originally I looked at it but the pedal would not turn on the shaft, but after I rigged a solution to make the cable work noticed that the pedal was spinning. 43 cent pin caused me 3 days of frustration go figure. Thank you for your help.
