Today my brother and I bought a package deal consisting of a Gravely Comercail 10A walkbehind and some attachments. As soon as we got it home and off the trailer we began to work on the tractor to get it running and useable again. It needed a throttle cable, gas tank, battery, and the wire that goes from the selonoid to the starter. Luckily we have a ton of parts so now this Gravely has a few parts on it from John Deere, Cub Cadet, Sears and Bolens tractors. I also had to clean the carb because it was nasty inside from old gas sitting in it. After that I decided to see how it would mow and tried to mow some tall grass. It did good until the grass got too thick and I broke one of the belts on the mower.The attachments we got with the tractor are two 30 inch mowers, two sulkys, a snow plow, a sickle mower and a rototiller. One of the 30 inch mowers is froze up and the rototiller is also froze up. We also got an electric starter for a L, a quick hitch thing, and a NOS oil filter and mount. We bought all of this for 500 dollars which was worth it too me and we plan to sell most of the attachments that we will never use to help pay for the tractor and 40 inch mower.

Great score Matt! I think you got a great deal with all that included! Heck I bet if you can get that tiller attachment going you could probably recoup a good amount of your money just from that?!

The 40 inch two bladed mower is a finish mower only.  The single blade 30 inch mower is the brush cutter for tall grass.  That is why the belt broke.

Very Nice Score!

Boy, look at those tires on the tractor.  I didn't think non-original tires would look right until I saw that.  :thumbs:

Very good deal on that tractor. It's not easy to find them up this way and they are pricey when they do come up for sale.

Matt,

nice buy on the whole lot!

The finish mower is not bad looking, if we can find them up here it would look like a train hit it for all the dents it would have.

I have been looking high and low for a belt drive conversion for my gravely, what is the weight of it and would you want to sell it if you still have it?

let me know

Kc
