I got my first wheel horse today. Its a 312-8 and it was close to home. The decals aren't the normal red, they have the black background. I heard wheel horse made anniversary editions, did the 312 have an anniversary edition? anyways, it needs some work, there is a lot of rot on the lower body panels and on the engine fan shroud. also, the carb and air cleaner are missing. anyone know where I can get a carb and air cleaner? but it did come with the original seat and an extra seat that would fit it. this should keep me busy for a little while, im going to try to restore this after my MM 112 this year (hopefully).

p.s. does anyone know where I can find body panels to a MM 112 hydro? Im missing quite a few and the restoration is on hold until I have all the parts. Thanks

Congrats on the WH Matt! You should be able to track down a carb and air cleaner from one of our site sponsors or Ebay.

The MM 112 you will more than likely need to find them off a Ford 120-140 Hydro or a Jacobsen Chief 1000-1200 Hydro. Some times they do come up on Ebay. I'm guessing the two large panels in front of the rear tires are missing? as well as the Battery box cover? And Generator belt cover?

Is that the MM that was on the Boston area CL awhile back?

Chris M, those are the exact parts that are missing and a few other ones here and there. I didn't buy the tractor, I got it from my uncle for free. I have a pic of it from the day I brought it home.

Good luck with it Matt! I just noticed your up in Swansea I go up there about once a month to bring someone to a Doctors appointment, I think it is exit 3 off 195?

If you ever decide to sell it let me know. I'd love to add an MM to the Jacobsens and the Ford I have.
