OK guys, Portersville is this weekend.  I am all loaded up and will head up tomorrow after work.  Ga Ed, NC Bruce, CT Fred and Freddie are already there.  For those of you going, don't forget the annual cookout Saturday evening at my motorhome on the hill at the fairgrounds.  Probably around 5:30/6:00.  All PK fans are invited, just bring somethig to drink and maybe a chair to set on, we will supply everythig else.  See you all there.

Jaydee

Portersville has some GREAT tractor pulls.  Saturday night is the "King of the Hill" pull where they just keep adding weight to the sled and to the tractors until somebody can't move it.  Goes on into the night.  Couple of years ago a big Farmall snapped in half trying to move the sled!!

This is "the" show for anybody who is into Power Kings! I wish I could go! Make sure to get enough pictures to hold me off until next year. Maybe next year I will be able to get down there.

Well, Portersville 2013 is history.  Had some rain on Friday evening and all night Friday but cleared up around 10 am Saturday and was beautiful the rest of the day. We had a great time and enjoyed a lot of good friedship.  We had about 20 to 24 tractors on display.  Pete Roman showed up with a PK and a dragline he had built.  We had about 20 people up on the hill for our annual cookout on Saturday evening and had lots of burgers and BS.  Looking foreward to Portersville 2014.
