Hi Folks,

I'm new to the site, but a long time GT fan. I've bought and sold a couple of Bolens, Simplicity & Wards walkers over the years. I currently have a couple of Wards Plow-Tracs. I recently acquired a unique Planet Jr. walker that I'm having trouble getting information on ie: model, specs., operators manual, pictures etc..

This particular tractor has the following options that I can list;

  • 8-R6 Briggs
  • multi speed gear box
  • 12-5 wheels w / AG tires (large pattern 3 lug bolt pattern on wheels)
  • Unique steel cowling (big "V" drop stamped on front of grill, with Planet Jr. stamped across top of grill & small "planet" insignia stamped center at crest of grill
  • It has been painted black with white wheels (can't see any color under the white paint on wheels, but the cowling and frame appear to have been a dark green)
  • handle bar grips appear original and are a lighter colored green
  • The ID plate on the frame is in real good shape and reads;

                          Planet Jr. Tractor

                    S.L. Allen & Company Inc.

                          Phillidelphia, PA

                       ser# 33591

I've scoured the net with no luck

Any help from you folks will be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I haven't taken any pics yet

Welcome to the forum. I don't have a lot of info on your tractor but am familiar with it. Here is a thread with a little info.

Welcome to the forum!  It sounds like you have a very interested piece.  Nobody would be mad at you later if you decide to post pictures.  :thumbs:

Wecome to the forum. If it has a reverse gear add a "R". It is ether a B-8G or B-8GR.

It worked for me the other day. Don't know what the problem would be.

It must be my computer.
