Anyone know why a royobi weedeater runs on choke but when I try to take it off of choke it wants to die..

I put a new carb-kit in it .. Same thing...

Think it could be the needle not adjusted  right ??

   Any thoughts ???                                                                      Thanks   sodi

Is this a 2 stroke or 4?  Check your fuel lines from the carb all the way into the tank. I'll bet ya the feed line is cracked. Also make sure the tank is vented.

A common problem is cracks in the fuel pick-up line inside the tank..  The thing picks up air and all bets are off!!

Check and make sure the cylinder screws are tight. They have a habit of vibrating loose.
