Needed to have something for moving and carrying miscellaneous items around the yard. Had a bunch of rusty, old, brittle bed rails laying around that my son-in-law gave me, and thought they might work well for this little project. As all I have for welding is a 90 amp MIG welder, and they usually don't like rusty steel, I bolted the whole thing together. Seems strong enough! What do you think?

Thanks,
Rich

That looks great and would be a real back saver when you need to move something heavy. I'd consider making some removable side panels. With those on it it would be about perfect for carrying firewood between my wood shed and the wood box on my porch.

That looks pretty darn good!            Glad you could repurpose the bed rails.    I have grown to dislike using them but will if I have them.   Rick

Thanks all - appreciate the comments!

I had a bit of a problem with the B&S engine on here - stuck flywheel and sheared key - so I swapped the engine off of the '73 and put on this '82. She purrs like a kitten now! I still have a few more things to do, but it's very usable now. She'll be fit for the snow thrower and Original Cab that came with the '73. The '73 is in tear down right now, and will be turned into something special later on. I'll be posting photos of the build as I go.

Thanks again,
Rich

There is one weekly project that II have thought was enough to justify a carry all like that.

Taking two trash cans down the 200 ft drive on TUESDAY nights and back to the house WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

ALL THE OTHR THINGS I COULD THINK OF WOULD JUST BE GRAVY.

Very nice!  You should consider making a removable bench on it to haul all those important people in your life.
