Doug LOVES to plow! This is him at David's in Georgetown, March 2011.  I had problems with my JB hydro & he blew his horn behind me!  I am ready for ya this year Doug!!  :smilewink:

At this point it's hard to tell what can change plans, but it might be that we will plow at Dad's, which is about 1 mile from where we plowed last year, on the same road.  As time nears, I will know for sure.  If we have it at dad's, there is a 15 acre field that we may put in wheat this Fall, so would be a good choice.  Likely we'll chop this field for silage, so it would be a good candidate.  It is a pretty squared field & lays fairly level, with just a slight downhill slope.  The barn is about 100 yards from the field & has electric I can power the coffee pot with.  I bought a huge 100 cup (50 "man cups") coffee pot after last plow day, so we'll have all the black brew we'll need.

No matter what, I will have a field for plow day.

Sorry you can't make it, but a new knee does take priority.  You need to rest up before all that happens anyway.

Those Bama boys take their plowing rivalries seriously, so to answer the call, I am putting my "twin 10's" back together!   I'll be ready for you guys!   :smilewink:

Good luck on the knee replacement! Now, if I could find someone to do a body replacement, I'd be good to go!

I hope to make it down. Depends on my oldest's football schedule. What are the start and end times?

If we have enough ground to allow Friday plowing, I will try to be there at least by noon, and plow till whenever that night.  Saturday morning I will be there by daylight, and we'll plow till we can't stand it any longer, or run outta ground. Depending on the weather, may have a late night BS campfire or similar.
