By the time I get down there, I should be able to see all the tractors already rolling dirt!

I was going to come down 75 and over through bardstown, google maps tell me coming 71 out of Etown is shorter and quicker.....go figure.

Yep, that's the better route, and when going to/through Cincy, that's how I always go.  But then traffic flow can change every best laid plan!

According to my map, I can turn onto Ball Hollow Rd. From 210. Then make a left to keep following it till your place. From Indy area, it seems 65 to Etown is the way to go for me. Does this sound right?

All sounds right except once on my road, you arrive at the plow day before turning left after getting on my road.  That left will get you to my house, or my Son's where we had it last year.  Below is directions to plow day this year:

CORRECTED ADDRESS FOR PLOW DAY IS:
356 Ball Hollow Rd. 42748

This is my Dad's place 2 miles up the road. When you come down highway 210 from Hodgenville, our road, which is marked as road #2762 is just feet past the 13 mile marker on the right(about 8 miles past Hodgenville McDonalds). A sign for plow day will be there as well. Just 1/4 mile, 4th home on left. Another sign will be there as well.

I need to know what all I should bring. So far, the FF w/ 3-point hitch. Then the 10" sleeve hitch plow in case someone can use it. And the 35 lb. wheel weights. Besides clothes and my self, what else?

Edit: Yes, I plan to bring deodorant!

I'm coming from Brownsburg so maybe I will catch you on the interstate. I say 330 but it may be more like 4. Whiteland exit is roughly 35 minutes from me. Not sure yet but I may be picking up a friend there. He is either riding with me or another Doug lol. I'm pretty sure you know him.

Eric,

I believe we have plowed together at "other Doug's". Sure hope he makes the trip down to KY. I have to make a 10 minute stop somewhere

along I-65 near Clarksville to show a WFM'er a set of 23" Goodyear bar tires & wheels.

My game plan is still to get on I-65 at the Whiteland exit somewhere around 4:30.

Maybe we can hook up and run together.

Doug

He has talked about your JD 300 plowing machine. He said that thing was a dirt turning animal. Look forward to checking it out.

You can check Doug's plowing machine out right now!  I followed & video's him at Georgetown, Ky March of 2011.   Note the illegal ballast in the seat.  :rolling: Doug is a blowhard as well.....he has horns he blows when you get in his way!  :smilewink:
