Our sons friend stopped by the other night and by the time he left I had a set of fenders, spindle assembly and brake / clutch rod and a few other extra parts for a Sears Custom 10XL.......then came the news that he has a Jacobsen (? model) GT at home that was going to the scrap yard..........well not really because it is now comming here. I just couldn't help myself. I don't know if any of you guys have seen a movie by Jeff Daniels (dumb and Dumber fame) that is called " Ecanaba In Da Moonlight", weeellllll,  there is a line in the movie that goes something like this.....".....anyting free is worth savin up fer...." so I just can't stop when the word free is thown in during the conversation. My wife, God love her, and so do I, just said, " .....where is it going to reside?..." refering to the new garage being nearly full. I then reminded her of another movie line,"....If you build it he (GTs) will come....." and I said .." see it wasn't my fault, it was done by design..." . I will post a picture as soon as it gets here. I'm not expecting much other than it runs. It was painted and cobbled to be a racing mower???!!! what ever that means. Keep on collecting, I am.     Roger.

One of my mottos has been "if its free, its for me". It has served me well for over 40 years. Good Luck, Rick
