I wanted to make a new thread to list some places to get computer stuff. I figure there are a lot of people that may or may not know about some of the different places.

This one is my all time favorite and about the only one I use anymore, they have everything from computer stuff to cell phones and cameras. Their shipping is also fast and I usually get stuff the next day, if they have the stuff in the NJ warehouse which they usually do. I built my last two computers and all the parts came from them.

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!

Here is another one, I have bought something from them maybe two times.

If you have anymore to add to the list post them and we can add them to the first post.

I have used Tiger quit a bit.
Next day delivery most time. They really get the stuff out the door.
They have a warehouse in NE Illinois which probably speeds things up for me.

George

I use both of these sites quite often, they both have great service..I also use a place called..

www.pricegrabber.com

This site checks several stores for the best price with and without shipping, and tells avaliblity.

Been using Newegg and ZipZoomFly for years here. I usually build my systems for use at home and both of these sites have been great experiences as far as purchasing goes. Newegg has warehouses on both the east and west coasts so orders show up quickly even with standard shipping.

We don't use tiger anymore, But have always had good results with newegg. And as always, look around, sometimes we've found better deals on amazon or even best buy.
The last build I did, parts were sourced from all three.

Sorry Maynard, all I can tell you about cellphones is, about 5 years ago the wife thought they made good target practice, and even an old one with a good battery can still call 911 even if it's not activated.

Give Away of the Day is a handy site.  Its for software rather than hardware but you can grab some decent freebies from time to time.

I mainly use Newegg but I occassionally use Frys with good success. Billy is right shop around, I have also found better deals on Amazon and Best buy.  Also Best buy will beat a newegg deal for the same item.  I've gotten lazy, I haven't built a computer in a few year's.  Much easier to just order what I want.

I use Techbargains most frequently and sometimes Pricewatch. I have given up on Tiger because of poor service on rebates Almost all their deals require rebates and I have been stiffed on a couple of them.
