Just been messing around with some gocarts here an getting my grandson ridein em an me,,lol,, Just wondering if I could get a lil help here an imfo,,,,, I was wantin to have reverse on one an wondering how it would work out by useing a trans from a rideing more on it,, Has anybody done anything like this before ?? I know they use em on the tractor pulls but wondering if I could get some speed with the trans for a gocart,,

check Utube out ,I've seen video where they change pulley sizes to speed up tractor for racing. not sure how you would get the pulley system to work though. sorry that's all I have for help

Remember that a lawn tractor trans doesn't have syncros. You aren't going to be able to run it through the gears.

Is there anyway to use a back of the belt reverser like the David Bradley riders used

Put an early Yamaha golf-cart engine in it. They get forward and reverse by running the engine both directions. Similar to the newer snowmobiles. I have one of these golf-carts and it works pretty slick. The grand-kids drive it without any problems. They are the model G1.
