I guess I can resist anything but temptation... at least I sold one of the JD317s, so it equals out... also got another set of ag tires for the rear, and a Gannon Earthcavator scraper/scarifier.

It's OK Smitty!  It's obvious that you are on the 12 GT plan!  Thats a nice looking large frame you have there. Those Earthcavators are an awesome attachment!

Its not your fault, its your strenght. You saved the tractor from an unhappy life with someone else. Love it and take care of it. Pics of the Earthcavator please. Good Luck, Rick

I believe it's a K432 Kohler--pressure lube system and 18 hp.  It had a cab, but the PPO (previous, previous owner) scrapped it by mistake  OUCH!!!!!!

Yes, it's wonderful to have a support group as I wrestle (half-heartedly) with my addiction....  :smilewink:

I'm Utah Smitty and I'm a Tractorholic... it's been 16 hours since I bought a tractor...

"Grant me the patience to admire those tractors I cannot buy,

The means to buy those tractors that I can,

And a quick exit when I break the news to the wife...."

O, gee, I knew there was a good reason I acted on my impulse!!!!!  The sad thing is, I had to leave a Cub Cadet 129 to it's fate!!!!

Thanks.  And, I'm actually cutting back... I have one less tractor now than I did before!!!  :smilewink:   , plus more of them run, so I can arrange them neatly... I've also lent my JD420 to a friend who's landscaping his yard....

Now I need to scrap out the Ditch Witch trencher that is sadly beyond recovery--though I did get a good running Kohler Magnum 16 and several valves, hydraulic cylinder , pump and tires from her....   she didn't die in vain......

When did you take your first drink?

I first imbib.... er, bought a Gravely Model L in 2009.... This is tractor number 23 by my reckoning... though I've sent half of them to live in a better place where they will be nurtured and caressed, and used as they were intended...
