Cj here is my neighbor and I'm responsible for talking him into this purchase, hahaha!

He will need a new steering wheel as well.  Is there a rather standard wheel out there that accepts woodruff key?  Right now there's a set of vice grips on the steering shaft boogering up the threads (PO's fault).

Manny of the steering wheels were similar during similar years, so pretty good chance, The Case uses a round cap and depending on the year will have different styles of spokes. Best way is to find your year on the chart in the Case forum and then use Google image to see pictures of that year tractor. Yours sounds like a 1973-1975

Welp folks, here are some pics of the rig, I've got to find the manual for it now. I don't see the drive pulley for the mowing deck. . . May be missing that as well! O.o

From looking at the pdf's I think i possibly may be missing the pto clutch as well... But I ran out of time today looking it over. . . If I understand it's what drives the mower deck drive belt. . . I may have just over looked it... By don't think I did. . .

It's not electric, just a series of washers and disks, doesn't look like other PTOs just move the lever and see what happens

I'm not sure what that bracket looks like I'll look through the manual and see if I can find the pic. I looked up front and couldn't find anywhere to put a belt is why I was saying it wasn't there. I could have overlooked something.

Find out what year it is, I'll tell you if you give me the S/N, There was some differences in those tractors through the years

You have a bracket on front it's hooked to the quick release pins. The pto is just behind the fan .Not sure if deck bracket or not can not see front plate in photo. No hard ware on it.  From the front looking at bracket if there is small hole down near bottom left corner it's a deck bracket minus the tension d bolt.

It looks like a suitcase weight bracket to me on the front of the tractor.

That would make more sense with 3pt and hydraulics. More then likely set up for tiller.

If that's the case, it's worth a pretty penny and will come in handy once he finds a tiller, The mule drive I have is missing the front plate, I used it as a suitcase weight bracket, but the front plate braket is easy to find, the mule drive and deck hangers for the right year tractor is what;s hard. I'm not sure if he knows it, but he has a short 444, they got a couple inches longer after 1980 or 1981 and lots of differences in mule drives, deck hangers and such. I think he can weld  little bar with a hole in it for the deck belt adjustment rod and use this as the mule drive hanger as well

If you were closer I would give you a bracket. I have 5 I think. It seems they are attracted to me lol. Welcome to the forum and congrats on your Case. I have 4 (446, 226, 222, 446) those are great tractors! I think you did well for 700 considering the PTO, tiller, etc would've cost that separate. You bought the attachments and got the tractor for free. Enjoy your new found addiction! That Kohler is a beast and won't take much to get going.
