Brian, this is a rough time, we know, but we are thankful that the facility he is in can ease his passing with morphine. It is hard on your family to lose him, but at least he is unaware of your pain and does not feel responsible for it. He sounds like the kind of fellow who would not want anyone to feel badly because of him. Our best wishes are with you.

Alzheimer's is an awful disease and when the pain is over... May your FIL rest in peace and you & your family find comfort and solace as his passing take's its path.. May God bless you all at this trying time and give you peace..
