Tried to adjust but pin just keeps turning. If the gear is broke does anyone know how to replace it.
I'm new here so alot of question but I really appreciate any help I can get. THANKS!

I had to replace one in a K241 some time back. Think it's covered in this manual. It wasn't a lot of fun!

The engine has to come apart pretty much completely to replace those parts. Not an easy job. If you were planning to do any work on the engine now would be a good time to rebuild it. It's getting harder to find good K321's so it's worth rebuilding it if you plan on keeping the tractor for a while.

JD Brian beat me to it . I didn't know at the time but I wish I had left the balance gears out of my k321 . Apparently they don't have to be in there

Larry, if your engine is original it doesn't have the balance gears. The rubber mounts are supposed to smooth things out but don't do a great job at that.  The governor mechanism is separate from the balancer.

You can, but it will not have much power and could easily over rev. if you try to compensate.

I guess I'll just have to do a complete rebuild. Thanks to all who have responded to my post. I love this forum!
