Guys I have a MF12 project going on http://gardentractor...f-12-rebirthed/ & I want to replace the plates with new ones if possible. I saw where someone had reproduced the plates at a print shop & stamped his original numbers in. Has anyone else done this or have info. I also have a question about location. My GT is a 1968 & I have a thin metal tag on the right side glued on & in bad shape. I also have two empty holes on the left side where some GT have their plates as well. Did the 1968 have two plates or are these holes factory stamped but not used. I have seen GT with one on either side but never both. Thanks for your help.

Jim

The left side is where the decal or plate is from the factory. It almost appears like yours should have a serial plate not the decal.
