We just started a ride a matic Facebook page. He's already posted some great stuff and is going to post pictures of his ride a matics. Check it out if you're on fb

Never been a fan of those Yahoo groups and Facebook just plain scares me! So maybe you can convince him to become an active member here :D

Lol I gotcha. He runs the yahoo group.

On your power pak, how does the clutch lever work? I've got the springs and everything but haven't figured out how the lever operates.

The lever pushes the sliding plate forward or backward by using the tension of the springs. You should be able to manually push the plate back and forth if its not siezed.

Mine is stored for the winter so I cant get any more pics of mine.

Back to the origins of this topic. Moderator feel free to delete all the other nonsense off the thread if you want since it just makes it look bad.

Here is a picture of the mow pak I'm getting. It's in good shape and still has the tag on it! This is the self propelled version.

So..... When are you going on Vacation? :poke:

I still cant believe you found one!

Is the serial number and model number still readable?

The neat thing is the deck shell was also used with the Bolens push mowers at the time.

There's a funny story to this. A guy had this laying out for the trash and a bolens guy saw it and picked it up from him! I haven't seen it in person yet since I'm not getting it for a couple more weeks. It's supposed to be I good shape and it was too good a deal to not get.

I'll share a picture or two. They made 4 different mow paks. Only one was self propelled. I've never seen or know of anyone that has a sno pak.

I found and purchased an original motor that's on it's way from Canada. I can't wait to get this old girl back to original the way it should be!
