Today I brought home a power pak with the tiller. It runs great and is in good condition. It was listed for two weeks advertised as an old bolens tiller before I found it so I reluctantly sent an email asking if he still had it and well you know the rest. I think $60 was a fair price.

Anyone have an idea of the age? What motor? Looks like a Briggs. How common are they?

Nice Find,

I saw it on craigslist a couple weeks ago but was too far away.

Its the same model as mine!

My serial number is  13798

I'm about 95% certain the 2060-04 is a 1959 model.

Engine looks to be replaced at some point.

It was about an hour and a half to go get. I thought it would be good to till up my raised garden.

I think you made a good buy. There was a Bolens' tiller for sale in our area about a month ago for the same price. I had too many expenses at the time and had to pass on buying the tiller. Maybe next time.

I'm getting ready to restore the power pak. I've got an ad out for a briggs 81702 engine for a proper restoration. The engine wouldn't slide on its track so it wouldn't disengage. That's something I have to work on. Also I bought a self propelled mower attachment that I have to go pick up along with some more ride a matic attachments.image.jpg

If I had to guess you got it from Aaron?

Lol. You're on to me. I'm still trying to find an original engine for it.

I've got several things to pick up. I've got a reel mower being shipped today and I'm working on a few more items but won't have them until the end of September. I don't want to spill the surprise.

I see he is a registered member on here but has yet to post.

From what I hear he has an impressive collection. Would love to see some pictures of what he has.
