Hello all,

My name is Jason, this is my first post on this forum.

I inherited a Jacobsen Chief 1000 from my folks.  Has a bunch of implements with it too.

Anyway my issue is the PTO is not fully disengaging.  I saw the manuals section but I don't know which manual I need to look at.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks!

Jason, welcome.  I hope you get your assistance soon.  I wish I could help.  Your Chief looks like it was well cared for.  Thanks for posting a photograph with your first post.  I'm glad you are here.

Hi Ya Jason welcome to the group. I have a Jake just like yours. But mine is not as nice. I only have a snow plow for it. Do you have the mowing deck? I would love to see more pics.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

My stepdad specifically gave me this tractor.  They are selling the house where they are at now and didn't have room to keep this in.  Every time they had it serviced they were told it was a very nice tractor and that it was better built than newer stuff.  Anyway, he got it from his grandfather when he bought his first house, and now she has a new home.  I think it'll clean up pretty well.

Kenny thank you for the manual!  That is exactly what I needed.  Now I can feel more confident in operating and maintaining  it properly.

Jack here's the only other pictures I have for it at the moment.  All the equipment doesn't look like it was used hard.

Thank you sir!  I wil be sure to ask if need be.  I think he does have a hard copy of the original somewhere.  He gave me the books for all the others but who knows.

Does this mean its a circa 1967?
