Really nice 582 , needs nothing , ready to mow .
Has about 520 hrs. on a working hourmeter .

Early IH 582 , really nice condition , comes with a really nice 44C mower deck that has very little surface rust where the paints been rubbed off .
It charges , headights and tail lights work , good battery , tires are in great condition and hold air .
Only thing that I see wrong with it is the original seat has a small rip in the top corner on one side .

You won't find a nicer one for the money , $500 firm .

JLaws, don't you take much less than what you are asking for it.  One just came through my shop a little while back.  It was quite the machine.  I'd actually buy one if I saw one to keep.  Yours is about the prettiest I've seen.

Does yours still have the Briggs opposed in it?

Yes it has the original  Briggs 16 hp opposed twin in it . I mow my yard with another 582 that I own weekly , although its not as pretty as this one , but I like it .

I just changed the oil , and it has a new air filter installed .

Also all the engine sheet metal is there , and the engines is about as clean as the outside of the tractor  .

I'm solid on the price , I thought i'd give a GTtalk member first crack at it before it goes on Craiglist .

I'd like to see it go to someone that will take good care of it . I know its silly , but I get attached to them .

That is a great deal all day long.  If you were near, I'd scoop it up.  It looks great.  Dad just replaced the engine in his 582 with another 16 horse B/S industrial engine.  They are a great tractor.

Good luck with the sale.
