I was wondering if any of you fellas know if there's an aftermarket companies or another manufacturers steering wheel that will fit on a 72-76 (3310) Ford/Jake 145 steering column?  In the process of teardown for the tractor I'm refurbishing, the wheel was so rusted on I couldn't get it off the column.  A gear puller and tons of penetrating oil wouldn't even do it!   I had to cut the spokes and only then could I get the column out and put it in a 60 ton press to free it!   I had been lead bidder on a used one on Ebay but someone swooped in a the last second and outbid me by 50 cents, the criminal!   EverSharp in Ohio doesn't have any either.  Anyhow, if you guys had any ideas I'm all ears.  Thanks

If you go to the top of the forum page, under sponsors, you will see hapco. Go to their website. They offer a reproduction John Deere 40 spline steering wheel for $60. I believe that will fit a Ross steering shaft. Which, is what I believe your tractor has. As always, trust but verify! I could be wrong!

Also check with our sponsors for a good used wheel. I got one for a JD 317 from Joes last year. There were none on ebay.

The two spoke "rubber" wheel, that some of jake/ford/oliver/white's had was also used on wheel horse.

Both the two and three spoke wheels can be sourced from other makes. There's also a guy on Ebay who rebuilds the columns.

That's an 'open' side tractor. Check with all our site sponsors as they may have what you need. Somebody else may have one and offer it to you!
