I was looking at the hydro on the Allis 716 and have a question.Where do you fill the hydro oil and how much do you add.Where's the proper level supposed to be. I did find the vent tube sticking out of the side of the hydro but haven't found place to add oil into or check the oil level.Any ideas.Larry

I'm not sure on it. My Allis 416 had a Vicker's unit & totally different.

I am downloading a manual for a Simplicity 7016, which is all the same except for the engine. I will upload to GTT in a minute or 2.

After getting home and downloading the manual,I've figured out why I haven't been able to check the oil.I knew something wasn't right as there had to be some place to add and check the oil.The manual confirmed what I kinda figured. The PO broke the pipe off that comes out of the trans and has stuck a 3/8" bolt into the broken off pipe to stop the oil from leaking out of the fill hole [pipe].So looks like tommoro I'll have to try and get the broken 3/8 pipe out of the side of the case.I'll take some pics of the before and after procedure. Now I'll have to ask another question is that just a street elbow thats threaded into the case with a short pipe and cap on the end that sticks up or is it just a street elbow with a cap into the female end.Larry
