That's to bad Doug. You where just telling me last week how much

you enjoyed mowing with the 16. I've got a freshly rebuilt K341 on the shelf, that

you can borrow. You could run up here next week after plow days, drop off whatever

treasure you may have found down south, and pick it up. That way, you could finish off

the mowing season.

That's part of the Hobby, things break.

This time the motor goes to a machine shop, re-bore, turn the crank and fit the piston, rod properly.

I knew the cylinder measured out of spec and the crank was just a hair smaller than spec, but I thought with a new piston, new rod it would tighten it up enough that it would be OK.

Oh well sometime over the winter I'll tend to it.

That's what I plan for the Ford's engine. Should have done that when I put rings in it.

Man, that bites.

I love the looks of the 14's & 16's, look like the field tractors. I wished my 1855 had the same look.

Still has a busted motor, sometime before the spring this needs to be fixed.
