I don't think he's going to get it :D :D :D

If you are going to ask THAT much for an engine, it should have been painted, and have the tin.

As it is, it looks like it was just pulled from the junk yard.

He didn't want to spoil the new rebuild by painting it. Besides that would push the price above the 1K level.

I would be leary of that so called rebuild. A lot of wing nuts put in a gasket set and a new set of rings and call it a full rebuild. I would not give him $900 for three of them engines.

Based on the pics and the adjustable pliers, he changed a few external items and maybe a few gaskets. Power washed and looking to cash in on some gullible sucker. He probably watches one of those reality TV shows where everything's worth thousands!

Nah, the gaskets are included, but not in there:

"The engine builder on this project has been doing this type of work for years and knows what he is doing.  There is no doubt that it was rebuilt right.  The buyer can inspect the work at the time of pickup if needed.  It also comes with new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets."

I would rather have an engine with hundreds of hours on it than this pig in a poke... He can't even say it runs.

If they don't have at least a 99.5 or better rating I wouldn't deal with an ebay seller

To me if you even considering sell any kind of engine there should be a video of it running. Paint don't matter for that kinda dough it should run like nobody's business!
