I keep checking the weather and Friday looks great. Saturday is still a little iffy, but plans still stand...

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Friday does look great, the rain we are getting now is lasting a little longer then I had hoped but with it being river bottom the rain we are getting now should drain off in the next couple days.

I agree with what has been said so far, if we get to plow great, if not the friendships that are made are more important.

Alright, anyone ever mount a sleeve hitch or 3pt to the back of a canoe? Thinking about bringing the canoe or some pontoons just in case LOL.

The rain does seem to be finally tapering off, I thought it would have been done this morning but it isn't. Will be praying for good weather :D

rain is done now, we will make the final decision tomorrow afternoon (thursday) if the event will be on or not. We aren't worried about a little rain on saturday, that doesn't bother us at all, but the ground is pretty wet, but those fields are forgiving since they are sandy.

I am not worried about Saturday's forecast at all. Most of the time the weathermen are wrong anyway. I will pray the drainage gods are with us.

hey everyone, josh just made the test run, and it looks great. very similar conditions to last year. I'm sure there will be some wet areas that lay low, but the general conditions are good for plowing.

So the official answer is YES we will be having plow day, BOTH friday afternoon, and all day Saturday. The weather has not gotten much better for Saturday, but we will still go on!

If there are any questions, please call us:

I just got off the phone with Bryan to go over a couple details, anyone that doesn't make it is just missing out. I don't care and don't even know what they are calling for weather wise on Saturday because it doesn't matter. Going to be a good time no matter what.

Hope one year to make it up there. I just mapped it & it's 670 miles, so would be costly for sure....about $500 minimum round trip in gasoline at around $4/gallon!

322 miles for me.

Yikes, what are you getting for mileage Dan? 5.5? I'm thinking $100 max for me with my truck and trailer with diesel being $4.10/gallon...

That's 670 miles ONE WAY! I figured it on 11mpg with my F250. It might get a tad better pulling a single axle trailer.
