Ive been wanting to experiment with some homemade sauce here for awhile but I though maybe some of guys (willingly of course :D ) could share a few recipes. I don't want nothing that will burn my insides out lol so nothing super hot. Let the sauce wars begin!

Great Topic!!  My wife has raved since I have known her 42 yrs about a BBQ Sauce she ate as a kid in the 60's. A friend of the family was a truck driver and bought some sauce from a lady in Arkasas that was apple sauce based. She has been trying to recreate it since and has never got it right?

I have been playing with BBQ sauces myself, but haven't found anything I like.

Here's a sweet coke/tomato based sauce, good on everything

Just add all to pan and heat/cook til mixed together real good.(stir often as it will burn)

Baste meat last 10 minutes of cooking, save some for dipping, enjoy!

P.S. If "heat" is wanted just add some hot sauce too.

1   tablespoon cinnamon
1   tablespoon dry oregano
1   cup brown sugar
2   tablespoons black pepper
1   pint chili sauce
24 ounces catsup
16 ounces Coca-Cola soda
2   tablespoons prepared mustard
