I have seen lately a lot of people asking the years of their machines. I figured I would share a link to the site I've been using. It seems to be fairly accurate and extensive, including a lot of data about the series and even some old pricing! I don't know if a Mod. would like to make this sticky?

Main Site- http://vintagesearsgardentractors.com/

Hope this helps someone!  :watch_over_fence:

They never made an 8XL...  10s were dubbed the XL because they had the biggest engine available on the Custom series at the time.

I have never seen one of those... I'm guessing they might of only sone it for a few weeks/months...  Probably has the "XL" because it has all of the electrical "addons"...  I'll have to talk to Stripmine...

The only thing I saw saw different between mine and the 10XL wasthe engine. I still have my HH80 engine. Sold the rear end and wheel weights. Saved the four wheels. Scraped the rest.
