Sitting here tonight just after I turned the sprinkler off in the garden, Behold RAIN! Haven't seen any rain in 6 days. Yard was beginning to look quite parched. Been watering the garden nearly daily. Wives flowers were looking pretty sad. Glad fo the rain and woun't mind having to mow.( All that seat time you know.) Garden was getting a little hard. Rain and watering will make tilling and weeding easier. Hope we don't get what parts of Florida has gotten. Some places have had nearly 14 days with rain of some sort. Hope all your gardens are flourishing and yeilds lots of great vegtables. Had great weather for the Holiday weekend. Hope you Holiday was great. Roger.

We need some badly here in NW Arkansas.

I'd LOVE it if I had rain every 6 days!

You guys want the faucet turned on and we are ready for it to be turned off!  Hope you all get some of the wet stuff.  This next week we are supposed to return to our summer routine of scattered or Isolated storm in the afternoon but the big rain events are supposed to be over tomorrow.  I'm not sure how much rain we got over the last 4 days but I'm sure it is up around 7-8".

We got a inch of rain Sunday afternoon. It came just in time as it was hot and dry. Going from 90 to70 was great.

We live in the jack Pines here in this part of Michigan. We like to have camp fires and even cook out side. It has been so dry and windy we haven't been able to for over a month. Looks like more rain this afternoon. Roger.

It seems weather patterns are getting stuck more often in the past meaning extended periods of either rain or hot dry weather in the summers. Record temps here for the last 4 days after about 10 days of rain. Back to normal temps this week.

We got 2 & 4/10" on Sat., first good rain in quite a while. Luckily there was no lightning with it as the bush was really dry and it's been hot--- perfect forest fire weather.

Man, it seems either drought or floods this year. We could do with a little dry, I have some veggie plants turning yellow due to so much water in the ground. Got water in my basement few weeks ago, but that was more due to a ball stuck in the gutter which just happen to be right over the basement window :wallbanging: but the heavy down pour rains didn't help either.

Seems we are cutting grass in between rain storms when ever we can. My boots stay muddy from walking in garden.

That's how it's been for about 3 weeks now here in Ky.  This makes 3 days without rain now, but still muddy after 5"+ rain over the prior 3 days.
