It looks like he did a good job... but I still cringe when I see people do things like this to these tractors..... Why cant they use those 90's Craftsmans or John Deeres?

Because the tracks would rip them apart...

Because there are a lot of tube frame tractors available. And they are cheap.

I have been here daily. Work has got me working like a dog (60hr weeks). I am pretty burnt out by the time I get home so I don't spend much time on the computer.

Looks like they used the track system off a small Struck crawler for this.
Nice looking conversion.

I was thinking the same thing but the drive sprockets on my struck MD40 are casted heavier then those ones but they could be off a later model then my dozer... one day I got to get a engine for it and start using it again... when my friend bought it there was 2 of them but only enough to make one good one and we still had to make some track pads and used a gear box out of a small roller but it only has forward and reverse I want to find a transmission but I never seen one that would work in this application. but anyway I think they did a great job on that bolens other then the cat yellow and decals.. I would of painted it original and had decals made that said 900C or what ever model it was made from.
