What Will 24X12-12 Look Like On 8.50 Rims

will they do the same thing as 26x12-12 on a small rim. does any one have pics thanks

Since the tire is not any skinnier, I think it would do the same thing. Actually, I think it would be worse! On a 26x12x12 there is 6 inches (differs slightly between brand and tread) of rubber around the wheel, on a 24x12x12 you only have 4 inches around the wheel. A tire 12 inches wide, on an 8.5 wheel will be pulled in 1.75 inches on each side. When the 1.75 inches are spread over 6 inches it is not as drastic as it is when it is spread over 4 inches.

In conclusion, when the 24x12x12 tires are compared to the 26x12x12 tires they will be 33% worse. At least in theory anyway...

On the AT 101's the side wall is not straight, so the narrower rim is right. They will hook better then a 23 x 10.50 but a 26 x12 will out hook them
