I have a Briggs and Stratton model A engine that is tagged as a Sears 500 20804.  My question is, then, does anyone have a Sears or David Bradley machine with an engine like this?  What was it robbed from?

Could be from a pre-war Handiman tractor.  Sears also sold just the engines by themselves out of the catalogs for use around the farm on whatever needed power.  Those old Briggs were super engines - so much better quality than newer stuff.
