just bought a brinkman smoker a small one im smoking a pork roast tonight I hope I like it

It will be hard for you to tell for certain if the pork roast is good.  Bring it to me and I can give you an unbiased opinion.

man that pork roast was good had it with side of Stroh's. I really like the little smoker for 50 bucks you cant beat it. it cooks way better than the converted gas grill I was using. I'm hooked ill never use gas.

You don't get the same flavor with gas, real men use charcoal or wood. LOL

I'm originally from central North Carolina and I've owned gas, charcoal/wood smokers and have had the best results with my electric smoker.  I think it all depends on the wood type.  I like a mix of hickory and apple or peach.  I also like to base the meat with apple cider vinegar.
