Can Not Get Tractor To Turn Over By Key

Still no luck with getting the starter to to turn over.I am beginning to think that in the first picture is my problem.The safety switch does not show any continuity..

 

I believe you're right. There should be continuity through the safety switch when the ball in the end of the switch is all the way out. When the ball is pushed in, there should be no continuity through the switch.

If that is the switch that is on the hydro lever, then with the ball in, it should be a short across the switch pins. The loop that has the safety switches needs to act as one long wire, which is why I would temporarily install a jumper that eliminate that saftety switches. If it starts correctly with the jumper, then you can take the jumper off and eliminate each switch until you find the bad one. Good luck
