Rained ALL day long, and will well into the night. My neighbors put on quite a fireworks show, but postponed until tomorrow night.

The last time I heard someone talking about rolling and smoking a fatty, it wasn't as described here, but the end result was the same. A couple of hours later they were cooked. Happy 4th everyone! :)

We went to the "dog park" (farm) today, did a little fishing;
Roasted some hot dogs;
"Kids" played in the pond;
Around 3 pm, we loaded up & came home, unloaded, did a little plant watering & came in for the evening, Chief & I HATE fireworks! ~~ Lowell

well, the chicken turned out so good, and I already had the smoker warmed up, so.... I put a slab of pork ribs on the smoker too. They will be finished in another hour or so.....

Well to start I worked a little on the plow, finished the mowing and then a chipsteak dinner. It's 10:50 pm here and I just got back from setting off full fireworks, bottle rockets and flintlock gun and sharpening a knife. GREAT DAY!

To me Independance Day is the most sacred of America's own holidays. Not only did we officially begin our fight to be free in 1776 but we also had to fight again to keep ourselves free in 1812 when Britian thought we were weak enough again to conquer.
Isn't it funny how things stay the same, during the Revolution Congress couldn't see fit to finance the Army properly and take care of it's veterans when they went home after the war. Look around today and think about it.
