Well today I did alright at a scrap yard I was visiting I got a extra PTO,solenoid and new style starter motor and a new style round back snow blower. The starter is a square type with 3 bolts while mine on the 1220 is a round cast iron type. The snow blower is what I really wanted it is black, 38 inches wide with chain drive on the opposite side to my yellow 36 "square back. The Bolens FMC decals are fine but the all important model number decal is badly scrapped, so not positive of the identification .Also got the rectifier regulator unit, old unit has done some work the PTO housing was welded about center of the shaft. Maybe some one slipped a jack under the front end and forgot about the PTO till it snapped. Tomorrow I will start on it with a good service and cleaning always good to have spares. Cheers Mike

You have a nice scrap yard. No access to scrap here. Once it's in the yard it's history.

I've been trying to get hooked up with the local scrap guys, but so far no one has bit.  We'll see if a little more arm twisting will work.  :D

The blower is a Model 18538 and got a manual for, seems in good shape.Turned it on it,s end to drain the gear box,and repainted with Tremcald on the bottom part. Hoping it will work a little better than the square back. Thanks Mike
