Going to English, IN tomorrow to pick up a Bush Hog V4-6...sans engine, one fender & host of other little bits missing. Supposed to have a TEC HH60 engine, and I know where there are some of them...IF he'll part with one. This little tractor is variable sheave, similar to JD & others, coupled to a 4spd forward, 1 reverse transaxle. Giving more than she's worth ($125), but never seen one even for sale before, and the ID plate is intact. I "think" the D4-10 fenders are the same, or at least very close, and I have an extra set, along with most of what's missing on this one. She's rough as a stone, but they all start that way. She'll likely get filed away for a year, 2 or 3, but I'll have it for when I can get to it.

I'm sure that you'll work your magic with it Dan! That one looks like it will need a lot of magic though!

No problem tonight Mike. Once my head hits a pillow....I'm out like a light. Been short on sleep the last 2 nights. My eyelids are heavy as lead right now.

Hey, easy on the old girl guys! She's home now & adjusting to her new surroundings, so lets not stress her out!:rofl2: Yep, rough as a cob, but still has her ID tag, so that's a super good thing. The one fender is missing & hood butchered, but my parts D4-10 uses the SAME hood & fenders! :dancingbanana: The variable sheave pulley spins free as new, but not sure yet if center sheave will slide, but if not, it won't be that hard to remedy. I got the AK Wisconsin engine too, but not going on, it being the wrong engine. I have better tires to go onto it, and entire wiring harness off the parts D4-10 is a direct fit too. The transaxle shifts through all the gears! Be a long time before anything major with it, but it's here & waiting when I can. The seat pan is here too, just slipped off & put in back of Jeep.

I even drug home an old JHD 110. Not sure why even, but had my BIL in mind. I'll see if it's any good & give him 1st dibbs for same as I paid. Came with deck, but in sad shape.

Wow Dan, that's great! You got what you were after and you brought home an extra one! It's great that everything will bolt up nice for you too. Great find and congratulations!

And another good thing....I took a GTT card for him & he'll be joining shortly. His handle will be dryrun or dryrun46. His name is George. When I get time this winter, I will be copying all my files from my Yahoo Bush Hog group & putting them here on GTT. I also will attempt getting as many of my yahoo guys to join us here.
