Why hasn't this sold yet?  Love the fuel tank.  If only I could swing it....  I am wondering, however, why the hood isn't on it though - just to show the engine, or is it missing something?

We don't see many of those down here.  Not a bad looking machine.  I wonder what the hood looks like on it.

Might be because it has issues. First thing I see is the hoods a repo or been damaged and a poor repair made. . An original hood only has 4 bolts in the front nose part and up on top  not a bunch of screws.  The decal isn't even close to what a Handiman would have used.   The engine has a hand crank, and no DB tractor ever used a hand crank, always a rope start. Im not sure that his hood will fit down over the engine with that crank assemble on it. The rear hitch looks to be modified also, with part of the swing area removed. If I had some closer pictures I could tell more about the tractor. I spent a while comparing this tractor to a dozen or so known ones, and found these differences, but im sure there are more.

Now in the condition its in is it over priced? I would say no. There are several people out there who specialize in prewar DB tractors and any one of them could help getting it back to as close to original as possible. I think it would make someone a great project tractor, even a beginner. And no im not plugging the ad for the guy, just stating the facts.
