That isn't a bad looking Gravely. It has a glass bowl sediment assembly, which is usually broken if it is even present, and the hood looks to be straight. The only thing wrong is that air hose. For an old Gravely it should tuck straight down and run back to the oil bath filter.
Of course, since they are $40 some if I remember correctly, I have been known to swap the carburetor backwards like the new(er) models with a dry air filter next to the oil filter. All that needs to be changed is the throttle shaft and a new stop pin for the idle.

Sounds like you know your stuff on these Gravelys. I'd love to own one some day. I think it would be great for maintaining trails and keeping the property cleaned up.
