Okay, so my old man picked up 4 new 26"x12"x12" Tractor tires, not sure which brand, but they are brand new, and he got a deal on them. They have been sitting on his shop floor and I doubt they will move. So...was thinking about putting a pair on the rear of the 1556. Will these tires mount, and will they clear the fenders and everything else on the tractor? Any input appreciated!!! I want to mount them up before our July 4th parade as I will have the tractor pulling the little IH trailer around with the little ones throwing candy out. Looking forward to it. Of course, I gotta twist my old mans arm a bit...but I'm sure he'll agree with it!

The last photo I found on another Forum. Looks like a tube frame...and tires look pretty large, maybe it's possible?

Imo putting A 26x12x12 on a Factory 7 1/2" is Stupid They need to be on Minimum a 10 1/2" To look right trade them for a set of 23x10.50x12 tires would be a Better idea and you can still run all the attachments with the Ag tires on

This would pretty much be for parade only. So my rims on my 1556 are 7.5"?

Sorry for the dumb questions. Yes, my wheels are 7.5". Since I have the tires in hand, I will mount them and see what happens. If I don't like, ill get some 23x10.5x12's.

i put 12x12x 26 on mine. it is for plowing and pulling firewood only. The mower deck will not clear and the tiller is too close to call. My tires would not clear originally. I had to build spacers to put under the fender bolts, about an inch or so would do it I think, I used a treated 2x3.

With that being said, I am not going to mount these up. I don't want to have to lift the rear fenders. Just need to find some 23x10.5x12's. Would also like to find an extra set of 7.5" rims to keep two sets, one ag, one turf.
