This week i got the hood down bare metal. Not to bad about 3 hours. Used aviation stripper and then sanded it. Getting ready to start the metal work. The hinge needs help and have fix all the rivet holes. I think i got the logos sized and ready to be made. I like the all red rather than the original stickers. So it looks welding this weekend and hopefully primed. Then it should be in the home stretch.

Success! Finally got it running today. After fighting with a stubborn carb i broke down and got a new one. Really cool to see it running after sitting for so long. Sounded really good. Glad to see this project finally coming together. Just got to get it lettered and off to the next project

Welcome to the forum.  That's an uncommon model.

I'm a bit of a fan of the Moto-mower nee Porter Cable garden tractors.

Basic, simple GTs that were really well built.

I have a few of the mid 1960s moto-mowers.

Very nice machine!

I don't think the Mark I's were Dura-Corp (Moto-Mower) products, were they?  As of 1960, Porter Cable was still manufacturing these tractors as well as their tillers, as that is the year they were bought by Rockwell.  It was sometime in the '61/62 timeframe that they sold their small engine division to Dura-Corp and their Moto-Mower division took over manufacturing.

I'm pretty sure that's a pre-Moto mower.

What part of PA and how much are you looking to get for it?
You might want to post this in the forum's classifieds section to get more exposure.

Really Great looking tractor!

I have a Porter Cable Mark 1 just like yours that I was restoring about 15 yrs ago. It was restored to the condition where you were at on Sept 08, 2013. Unfortunately I moved the family to Maine and the tractor still sits in NY. I need to go get it and complete it, again. Hopefully get it to look as good as yours.

Thanks for the memories...
