I recently got a Sioux Valve Grinder, and I promised that if I decided to sell it, I would post it here. Although I would like to keep it, I can not justify the room it takes up for the amount that I would use it. I can however justify the room for a welder! And because of that, I am looking to trade the valve grinder for a stick welder that can produce DC polarities. Depending on the welder, I may also be interested in AC only welders.

It is a Sioux model 650 valve grinder. Everything is there, except the flat belt to drive the grinding stone. The belt that turns the chuck is also broken, both belts can be purchased online. Everything moves freely, and there is no play, or backlash.

My uncle deals in stuff like this quite often, and he said I would have no problem getting a couple hundred for it. There is also a lincoln AC/DC 225/125 on CL right now, and the guy wants 200. He also has a LOT of rods with it. So, I guess I will start at 200 for it.

I would say the price is about right. There is one on eBay listed at $250.

Thanks! So 200 is what I will be selling it for then!

Come on guys! Buy this great and useful tool! The $200 will go to a great cause... A new welder for me! I have several projects waiting until I get a stick welder, so if somebody buys this, it ultimately means more pictures for everybody!
