I saw a JD 1200 today. What is it for??? Is it a tractor?  .....an ATV? ...a golf cart???

It`s called a infield rake for golf courts. You can rake the sand bunker (right word/definition?) with it. Saw one at Hermann...

That whole machine is just for raking!!! It looked like it could be made into something more important.

 

A 1984 MTD could do the raking.

Neat looking machine. Golf course equipment is very specific. I doubt an MTD would do that job as well or last long doing it 8 hrs a day.

Golf courses have always been a mecca for manufacturers of specialty equipment.  I saw a book one time that had pictures of all the patents just for their maintenance.  It was a big thick thing.

I have one of them things at my school! Anytime I'm outside in gym, I always see the baseball field getting raked with it. Pretty neat, but it would be cool if it could do more. Ian
