Tford15 here.  Just acquired a walking tractor.  I'm going to try to post some pics.  I'm not real techy at such things, may need a lot of help.  The tractor is labled 'Wizard', has a 5hp B&S, no gear box only pulleys for a Forward and Reverse, chain drive with the enclosed 'transmission' on the RH side viewed from driver's position. Tires in pretty good shape but one wheel is very pitted and a short piece of the rim, 2 1/2" is gone.  It seems lightly built but the B&S runs w/o smoking or knocking and the F & R work.  I have been searching on this site for information, manuals, implements.  The Model # GIS 2110A08

I think it is a mid to late 70's just from the appearance.  If any of you are familiar with this tractor, tell me where I can find a replacement wheel (5 lug but with 7/16 lug bolts which is not a std trailer wheel as far as I can tell), manual and other information.  Thanks

Well, I tried uploading my pics but I couldn't resize and makem stay, file too big.  I'll try again later.

Welcome to the forum. The Wizard brand was sold by Western Auto stores and were built by multiple companies. Once you get the pics up we can probably identify it.

welcome to the two wheeled area. The number you posted makes me think its a Gilson produced tractor from the mid to late 60's. If the engine is original then its serial numbers would help narrow down the yr.

I have a Wizard walk behind too. It has a gear reduction unit on the 5 HP Briggs motor.

Maybe the rim looks like this ...http://www.millertir...4-5-bolt-wheel/

If you post a photo maybe some one has a used rim near to you. Cheers Mike

I just bought a wizard a few weeks back. Motor was shot. Got a new (used) motor. Will get some picture downloaded as soon as I can. I'm new to the site and just got validated so I could use the site.

Mike
